Rafters and Scarfs joints can be intimidating to new timber framers, because there is a lot going on in measurements, calculations, layout and the cutting process.  This class will help you build confidence and learn new skills that can lower that stress level considerably!We will design, layout and cut several different styles of both.   No previous experience or expertise is necessary.

About this trip

Our son had a wonderful time at the Timber Framing camp. He cannot wait to return next summer.

Timber Frame Retreat for Teens

Hawk Circle is beautifuly tended. It was scorchingly hot and muggy but the cabins remained cool in the shade and the beds were comfortable. 

Moon Dance/Cabin Rental

Spring Equinox at Hawk Circle was amazing, as always. Nestled in beautiful, nurtured nature, the experience of being there in circle, with sisters, was transcendent. I’ll go back again and again.
